King George Board of Supervisors Ralph Bunche High School

75 YEARS!

The Ralph Bunche Alumni Association (RBAA) accepted a Resolution presented by the King George Board of Supervisors (KGBOS) at their board meeting yesterday. The resolution declared that September 2, 2024 will be “Ralph Bunche High School Dedication Anniversary Day”!

President of RBAA, Claudette Jordon, accepted the Resolution with these words:

“Good evening KG Board of Supervisors. Thank you as we, the Ralph Bunche Alumni Association, are indeed grateful and feel privileged to accept this Board of Supervisors’ Resolution to honor the 75th Anniversary of Ralph Bunche High School.

“We also want to acknowledge the Ralph Bunche Advisory Committee, KG School Board, County churches, proprietors, family, and friends who have demonstrated their commitment in helping RBAA fulfill the mission of restoring and preserving the legendary and historic Ralph Bunche High School.

“We have accomplished much, but there is much to be done. We extend an invitation to all concerned citizens and County residents to join us in this Ralph Bunche Visualize & Rize endeavor.

“I’d like to share a few facts with you:
